Itinerary 10 Days in Perú:
Day 1: City tour in Lima with a visit to the Huaca Pucllana
Upon arrival in the city of Lima, reception by our collaborators and transfer to the hotel.
To start the 10 Days in Perú, we will get to know Lima in a comfortable and modern tour of the best of our city. We will take a panoramic walk through the Pucllana Pyramid in Miraflores, we will pass through the great El Olivar de San Isidro park, we will walk through the streets of the Historic Center and enjoy a guided tour of the Plaza de Armas and the Catacombs of the San Francisco Convent. A complete tour with the comfort and attention of a modern tourist service.
Day 2: City tour in Cusco
After breakfast at the hotel, we pick you up and take you to the Lima airport, there you will check in and take a one-hour flight to the city of Cusco “Archaeological Capital of America”, there our staff will welcome you and transfer from the airport from Cusco to the selected hotel, where we will have a coca tea. After your lunch from 1:00 p.m. we will start the guided tour that includes visiting the center of the millenary city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Santo Domingo Monastery, the Koricancha Temple and the nearby ruins of Kenko, Puka Pukará, Tambomachay and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built with huge rocks that until now remains an enigma the mobilization and use of these, there are no stone quarries in the area.
Day 3: Tour to Machu Picchu “The lost city of the Incas”
After having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the train station in Cusco to start the excursion to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. We will have a 4-hour trip until you reach the tourist town of Aguas Calientes, from there we will take a bus and in half an hour we will arrive at the citadel of Machu Picchu. Then with our guide we will visit the Inca city between 2 to 3 hours. Then we will have time to go down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch and in the afternoon we will take the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, as always, our staff awaits you and will take you to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 4: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas
This day we will make the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a tour that we start at 08:30 am, pick up from the hotel to go to Pisaq, which is a typical market, with picturesque terraces cultivated in the mountain. We will visit the archaeological group of Pisaq. It is also famous for its Fairs where you can buy beautiful crafts. Then we will go to Urubamba where we have lunch included. Then we will go to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, where there are descendants of the Incas who live in the houses of the Incas. Finally we go to Chinchero to see its market and the archaeological group with typical Spanish overlays to the Inca constructions. The tour will end averaging 19:00 pm in the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. We will spend the night in a selected hotel in Cusco.
Day 5: Tourist trip from Cusco to Puno visiting “Raqchi”
After breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the bus station of the company that will take us on a tour that lasts approximately 8 hours.We will have 4 excursions and guided visits to the tourist attractions of the southern corridor of the altiplano visiting the temple from Andahuaylillas or Sistine Chapel of America, the Inka temple of Raqchi, at noon in the city of Sicuani we will have a Buffet lunch included in the tour, from there we will continue the tour arriving at the Raya pass at 4335 meters above sea level and the Aymara Inka museum of Pukara. Each visit lasts from 20 to 40 minutes, where the passenger can ask questions, take photos and walk a bit, making our excursions pleasant. Upon arrival in Puno our staff will be waiting for us and will take us to the hotel where we will spend the night.
Day 6: Tour to Lake Titicaca, Los Uros and Taquile Islands
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the port of Puno (Lake Titicaca) where you will board the boat and then visit the Floating Islands of the Uros for a period of 45 minutes, you will appreciate the customs of this island and its crafts. Then we will also move by boat to visit the Taquile Island of great scenic, ethnic, cultural and archaeological value, then we will also return by boat to the Port of Puno, there you will be picked up and taken to the Hotel or if you wish we can leave you in the center from Puno, and finally the night will be spent at the selected hotel.
Day 7: Chullpas de Sillustani and plane flight from Juliaca to Lima
Breakfast at the hotel, you will have a few free hours to visit the center of the city of Puno, at the indicated time I will pick you up from the hotel and we will transfer you to the Chullpas de Sillustani, pre-Inca funerary towers, the highest measuring approximately 12 m. Then we will go to the Juliaca airport, which is one hour from Puno, there they will check in at the airport counter and then they will take the air flight to Lima. Again at the Lima airport, we will be waiting for you with a notice with your name, and then transfer you to the selected hotel in Lima. At night they will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 8: Bus trip from Lima to Nazca
We must wake up early, after having breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and go to the bus terminal of the tourism company that will take us from Lima to Nazca, in a trip that will last approximately 6 hours we will arrive to the city of Nazca, where Our staff will be waiting for us as always with a notice with your name, after welcoming you once more, we will transfer you to the hotel where you will spend the night that night.
Day 9: Overflight to the “Nazca Lines”
In the morning after breakfast, we go to the Nazca airport, prior to the flight we will receive an informative talk for a 30-minute overflight over the Nazca Pampas, where the ancient pre-Incas drew gigantic figures of animals and plants with a purpose not yet discovered, many believe that these figures were made by aliens, among which are the monkey, the spider, the hummingbird, etc … In the afternoon we will take a bus to Paracas, a city 3 hours from Nazca We will spend the night in Paracas.
Day 10: Tour to the “Ballestas Islands” and “Paracas Reserve”
After having our breakfast, we will move to the port of Paracas, where we will start the tour to the Ballestas Islands passing through “El Candelabro” a gigantic image on the side of a hill. Upon arriving at the Ballestas Islands, the different islands will be visited for two hours, observing the different species of sea lions, seals, penguins and guano birds. After arriving at the port we will make the tour to the Paracas reserve. In the afternoon we will go to Paracas from where we will take the Bus to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima we will wait for you at the bus terminal and transfer you to the airport to carry out your flight arrangements to your country, there we will say goodbye.
